About Me

I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and have lived in a ton of different places - Mexico City, Florida, North Carolina, Arizona and Chicago. I've always had an affinity for trying new things and places and thoroughly enjoy getting to know people from all walks of life. I'm very outgoing, clean and open to trying (almost) anything at least once!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had been working in digital advertising sales for about 4 years and realized my day job was no longer fulfilling. Recently quit my job to fulfill a dream of traveling for a few months since I never had the chance to study abroad. Looking to to immerse myself in as many new cultures and meet as many new people as I can during these next three months and do what locals do in each of the cities I'll be visiting. I've traveled to about 10 countries so far and am so excited to quickly grow that list in the next coming months.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - always dependent on my mood - jazz, blues, rock, indie rock, pop, etc. My taste ranges from Chet Baker to Drake, Amy Winehouse to Ella Fitzgerald and Kings of Leon to the Rolling Stones. And Justin Bieber. Can't forget Biebz.

Movies: Love a good action film, but also a sucker for a crappy, romantic comedy too.

Books: What are those? Just kidding. The Great Gatsby, Gone Girl, currently reading I Can Make You Rich.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm...not sure...I teeter around the average/above average line in every aspect of my life, but I did hike Machu Picchu.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - grammar. I'm weirdly good at it.
Learn - a new language.
Share - as many embarrassing stories about me as you'd like to hear.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food - I'm great at sharing food.
