Overview
About Me
I'm fairly easy-going with maybe a bit of a strange sense of humour at times. Generally I enjoy life and love to talk to people and listen to their ideas and life stories. I also love my family and really like meeting new people from different countries. I respect other people's beliefs and customs and try my best not to judge.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the same reason as everybody else I guess: To travel in a more "real" way, to meet people and maybe make new friends in all kinds of places.
Interests
- singing

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to just about anything, difficult to pick favourites here.
Movies? Well, I like stuff like "Withnail and I", "Bagdad Cafe" or "Everything is illuminated"
Picking favourite books is nearly impossible again. I've read everything by Alice Munro, But I also enjoy Terry Pratchett or Justin Cronin...
Or William Shakespeare :-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With three other guys I've walked 100 km in 30 hours to raise money for Oxfam.
Twice.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I teach languages; English to Germans and German to refugees.
And like everybody else I'm constantly learning.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As long as your standards are not too high, I can cook something vegan for you.
Countries I’ve Visited
