Overview
About Me
Hi!
My name is Gabriela, but people call me Gabi for short.
I'm a elementary school teacher because I love teaching-learning processes.
I also love cinema, TV series, boardgames, sports, photography, cooking... and traveling!
I live with my boyfriend in the São Paulo's suburbs, at the west zone, in a house near to the University of São Paulo. It's only a bus from the historical city center (about 40 min - belive, that's not much for a city the size of São Paulo).
I like to talk with diferent kinds of people about a great lot of things!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet people, either people who are visiting Sao Paulo or people who could host me in other cities.
I like to share experiences, my house and a cup of coffee.
Interests
I like to watch movies (except terror movies. I really don't like them).
I love photography, either to take it or to appreciate it.
And I love to play all kinds of board games!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very ecletical.
I like various Brazilian genres (samba, MPB, bossa nova) and international music (like classic rock, easy listening).
The same goes for the movies. There are a lot of great brazilian films that I love. And I like a lot of blockbusters and holywood movies.
I usually read academics texts, but I like literature too. In this area, I know much more brazilians writers (they're soooo good!).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Machu Picchu, and it was AMAZING!
I went to the Salar de Uyuni too, a salt desert in Bolivia. It was 3 days of surrealistcs landscapes!
In the last big holiday I freaked out and went to Amsterdam! It was the nicest crazy thing I've ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a teacher. So, I like to teach and I can teach things that you should have learned when you were 10 (hahaha)!
I know something about photography too.
And I know a lot of things about my city because I live here since I was born.
I think that is where I can be most helpful!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can talk about my work, my culture and my country.
I can give little tips about photography.
I have some experience in traveling around South America, so I can give tips about places to stay, how to spend a little less, etc.
