We are Gabriel and Valen (my real love 🐕) I am 27 years old. I am studying psychology and at the same time I am working as draftman. Since I was a child I used to practice martial arts like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Nowadays actually living in Lalín (Galicia) 30min away to Santiago de Compostela, looking for a work experience.
I´d like to work helping people in less development areas like Asia or Africa. This is what I am most passionate about.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to travelling around the world looking for new experiences and know interesting people. I'm also interested on take part of Couchsurfing because other people talk to me about their good experiences with the community. So I´d like to try it for myself.

Interests

I love traveling and meeting new people everyday. Besides, one of the things that makes me happier is being able to help other people.
Also, animals are a passion for me (I am a vegetarian) and I love being in touch with them and with nature.
I do different martial arts since I was a child. Actually, they've helped me physically and mentally a lot.
When I get bored, I usually listen to music (rap and rock) or stay with friends to chat and laugh.

See the desert around me (Morocco) Spend a night there, in peace and tranquility, watching the stars... it was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share with you some different things about my culture. Galicia is a celtic nation, so we have our own language that I can teach to you. I also can speak spanish to you because it's our second language and is one of the most spoken language in the world.
As I said, the origins of Galicia are celtic, so we are part of the 7 celtic nations around the world. That means that I can share with you our differences and our similarities.
I can teach you martial arts as well. So if you are interested on self defense, this could be a good option for you!
I´d love to learn about new customs, ways of life and gastronomy. I´m also interested on learning english or other languages.
I think that I can always learn something from people who get in my way and they can learn something from me.
