About Me

From the 20th of July to the beginning traveling around France. Open to all opportunities.
I love stories and I want to know more of them: open the pages of the books, search for a special leaf in the forests, wander through streets where already thousands of people have passed (or maybe just a one)...and to enjoy every single day and its surprises, both big and small. I knew this, but I didn't know which studies would complement this, so I took a gap year and did the same(with slight variations) as Bilbo Baggins - I went on an adventure. And now one year after, with the re-found love for people and their peculiarities, I am enjoying my studies in Amsterdam with occasional get-aways.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As you could probably already guess it is because of the stories. Since I learned the magical world that lies beneath the words, I knew, I will never let it go. And as later I discovered that they also hide in the heart of every person ( it took little bit more time than you could probably guess, me being not the most open child), I began to appreciate the conversation and decided to be open to a wider variety of possibilities...
Also I have done Couchsurfing before, but for some reason all of my reviews were gone after I had some problems with my account.

Music, Movies, and Books

Looking at my Spotify playlist, the best description of my music taste would probably be - good oldies. From Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra to Toto and Queen, it varies on the mood, which is not always predicted, maybe, except December, then it is Christmas songs and only Christmas songs!

Movies...They share the same varying line as the music. I can go from Tarantino mood to the Old French cinema one in a day. Maybe, one point that all of my favorites share is strong a emotional charge , making me really to Feel (in other words, I am that person who always cries during movies).

And when it comes to the books, honestly, I can't mention just a few. It would feel as a betrayal for all others that would be left outside. There are simply too many of them and they are too precious to me to be just named in along line without a praise or an emotion that they deserve. And if you share this problem, I can sense a wonderful conversation approaching.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be more than glad to cook some vegetarian dinner or maybe just a small breakfast ( and to wash the dishes afterwards also!)
Lithuanian may not be the most known, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful languages, so here there is an opportunity for you to learn at least one of it phrase.
Or maybe more of Lithuanian history or just a new traditional dance move. I am ready to share my knowledge.
If I would be staying for a longer period of time and you have a free wall or just a piece of paper, I wouldn't say no to some art project. I am not Monet but...
And of course, book recommendations according to your preferences can always be shared.
Or maybe going old style- just a nice conversation...
And of course, you would be always welcome in Amsterdam!
