ABOUT ME

Hello everyone! My name is Gabriel Lai. I'm a 3rd year University student doing my exchange in Vienna, Austria. My home University is in Adelaide, Australia.

I grew up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Because of growing up in a multi-racial country, I speak 7 languages fluently.

I love to meet new people, the oldest traveller I met while on the road was an 84 year old American lady - with her own laptop and iPod!
I also like to exchange life stories with people I meet. Listening to different peoples' stories plays an important role in my life, especially in this direction-searching age of 20 years old. Also, I love to share music with people, so if you are a music lover as well, we can trade music. :-)

Oh and also, I can give you movies in return for your wonderful hosting!

Camping at an Australian beach in the Winter, with the wind it was around 2ºc and I only had 2 jumpers on.

One thing I really wanna learn is Languages. Although I speak 7 languages fluently, I can say that only 3 of them are really really useful in the world. Someday I would love to learn all the major languages in the world. Besides languages that use the latin alphabet, I really wanna learn Arabic.
