About me

I’m an open-minded, curious, creative and positive 24 years old guy from France. I'm traveling through European natural places to take a breath and discover new way of living, speaking, thinking, working… and I want to share this experience with you!

Personally speaking

Being in a family of musician, I play piano and some other instruments for fun (accordion, percussion,…). I’ve been in a little orchestra during almost 10 years and I like to play with other friends for fun. I like also juggling with balls, clubs, flaming torches or whatever else I can have with me. I always like having projects to carry out – and that one is probably the most interesting one!

Professionally speaking

I’ve been studying mechanical engineering for 7 years: from high school to university with a step in engineering school. I’ve been graduated by a Mechanical Engineering and Production (2 years in France). Then I’ve got a Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical Engineering in England at Coventry University (a 3rd year). The last 2 years, I’ve been working as Project Manager and Technical-Sales Engineer apprentice in a company at the same time of studying for a Bachelor in Industrial Projects Management (Designing, Planning, Producing, Managing worldwide clients,…).

Oh also, I don't smoke ;P and It's not a problem if you are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm traveling to meet people, to leave at least a bit like them :)

I'm traveling with HelpX (like WWOOFing but for everything) and I loved my first surf. I'm not really comfortable being fully invited by people so I'll try to help you as much as I can in any way.

When I'm helping (with HelpX), I'm mostly meeting families. What I like with couchsurfing is that it's giving me the possibility to meet also really different people.

It's completing my possibilites :D

Music, Movies, and Books

For music, I'm listening a bit of everything. I normally have difficulities to give a specific band name so I will just give you those that are now in my computer : Amy Whinehouse, Bastille, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros, Tom Odell, Hozier, Imagine Dragons, Jake Bugg, Linkin Park, Tove Lo, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sheppard, John Butler Trio, U2 and Young Blood Brass Band. For the french reader, I'm mostly listening OUÏ FM ;P

For movies, I couldn't give you specific names. I'm mostly into action, adventure, comedy, romantic and dramatic movies than into fiction.

For books, I would like to like reading but I didn't get the thing that would make me read.. However I really like things about new technologies as magazine How It Works for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left France for a one year trip in Europe alone. Ended up coming back 16 month later after amazing experiences and a dog. Have helped as a musher in a husky farm for 10 month. That's why there is a dog in the equation :L
