About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to live without constraints, to meet beautiful people

ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling, swimming, skiing, learning new languages, laughing and smiling. I usually have a book around and I read (in the metro, in the train, in the bus). I believe that I can change the world and I'm constantly improving my skills in order to achieve that. :) For those of you that say: "she's young..." I will just reply that I believed that 9 years ago... and I will believe that until the end. That tells you that I'm pretty stubborn also...

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is having something to do, someone to love and something to hope for.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tell people about CouchSurfing and how I discovered the project. I travel and I meet people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to the couch surfers monthly meetings in Groningen and I loved the atmosphere.I surfed the couch of Maarten(Delft), Francois(Utrecht), Jelena(Amstelveen), Dusko(Groningen), Agnese(Riga), Tommy(Leiden), Laura, Alexandra(Paris), Renato, Yuri(Brazil) and I hosted Ina and Tommy(Groningen), Sam, Scarlett, Daniela, Michael, Andrea, Albert(Romania).I went to Midsummer Night 2009 in Utrecht and I went to Rio for New Years Eve(I spent the New Year's Eve with CSers on Copacabana and it was amazing). Recently I have organised trips in Romania and because other CSers decided to come the atmosphere was intercultural and we had great fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

atlas shrugged - ayn rand, as the latest great book; a thousand splendid suns, ender's game, sophie's world ...
kite runner, as the latest great movie; I like Almodovar and movies with substance, jeu d'enfants, dreamers, dead poets' society.
I listen to old rock music, Cranberries, Dido, Metallica, Blof, Gotan Project, Counting Crows, Air.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen one of my projects developing from an idea (a sentence in my head) to a true happening, that has already six editions. I've seen St Donat's Castle, in Wales and that place is amazing(the sea, the rose garden, the rooms inside the castle). I went exploring a cave by night.I saw Rio de Janeiro from the top (paragliding), I experienced rafting, climbing, snorkeling and I´ve finally reached Brazil :).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share many things about my country (Romania), its people, old customs and traditions, its country side and places to see and things to do whilst you're there. I can teach someone to ski..., I've done that before with great results :). I can talk about project management and about the projects I've done and give some basic tips about starting a project.
