About Me
Sometimes I have giggling days, I'm sorry it's just out of my control.
I'm an outgoing person. I need to be in touch with people. Always ready for adventure, I want to see everything, to do everything, to know everything! Organized trips are not for me, I prefer challenges and improvised things.
If you host me, you'll have to wash the dishes at least once because I will cook for you at least once (just kidding, I wash my dishes too). I'm not expecting of you to be a tourist guide, I just want to know you (at least) enough to laugh to tears with you.
Have a look at "Gab la nomade" on Facebook to follow my current trip around the world!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of the people I met with Couchsurfing became great friends, a few hosted me a million times, another one bought me a mom-to-be balloon just for fun, others saw me getting drunk... They all made me laugh and I always had fun and looooved these eCSperiences!
Interests
Traveling, cooking, doing both at the same time, adding a bottle of wine and music to it just to make it better and then contempling the happiness I just offered to myself (and to others).
One of the things that give me the most satisfaction and joy is a table full of friend with many plates full of colorful food that everybody shares while laughing and talking too loud.
I am the kind of girl that always has a foot on the table or a leg behind my head cuz it feels good and why should I only do yoga on a mat anyway?

Music, Movies, and Books
Many years ago, my uncle gave me a book called "The Alchemist" by Paulo Cohelo. This is a little book but I will always remember the story and lessons to learn from it. I must have read it a dozen times in French, English and Spanish but I'm still enjoying it and referring to it often.
Amélie Poulin is a movie that I love to watch again and again because it makes me feel happy for nothing and it reminds me to pay attention to all the small things that are beautiful in life.
I also loved the movie l'Auberge espagnole because it makes me think of when I was living in a hostel in Ireland and I just loved it and I like everything that can bring this feeling back.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With some friends from highschool, we almost died on the top of Wayna Picchu!
My former boyfriend and I hitchhiked across Canada from Montréal to Vancouver.
I worked a whole month repairing a sailing boat without even sailing once in my life.
I slept on a desert island.
I once traveled to the other side of the world just to meet with someone I really liked.
I got the worst sunburnt you know where when I decided to try nudism on a beach in Mexico.
A friend and I camped on top of a volcano just to watch another volcano erupt all night long.
I once got high just by doing breathing exercises.
