Me llamo Gabriel. Tengo 33 años y soy de la ciudad de San Martin de los Andes, en la Patagonia Argentina. Viví 10 años en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires donde incursioné en diversos estudios de programación y modelado 3D, uno de mis hobbies preferidos.
También amo la fotografía y pasar tiempo al aire libre, por eso uno de los lugares favoritos es mi ciudad natal. Allí disfruto de caminatas por la montaña, días de playa en los lagos de la Patagonia y, cuando el clima lo permite, irme de campamentos es una de mis actividades al aire libre que más disfruto.
Actualmente estoy viajando por Francia desde hace un año y a mediados de Abril haré un viaje por Albania, Grecia y el sur de Italia.

My name is Gabriel. I am 32 years old and I am from the city of San Martin de los Andes, in the Argentine Patagonia. I lived 10 years in the City of Buenos Aires where I ventured into various programming and 3D modeling studies, one of my favorite hobbies.
I also love photography and spending time outdoors, that's why one of my favorite places is my hometown. There I enjoy hiking in the mountains, days at the beach in the lakes of Patagonia and, when the weather allows it, going camping is one of my outdoor activities that I enjoy the most.
I have been travelling in France for a year now and in mid-April I will be travelling through Albania, Greece and southern Italy.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Tuve la suerte de viajar por primera vez de mochilero cuando tenía 17 años. Me fui de viaje con dos amigas por el norte Argentino. Desde ese entonces viajar se convirtió en una de mis actividades favoritas. Como uno de los tantos y tantas viajeras que hay dando vueltas, incursionar en este mundo me llevó a la plataforma de Couchsurfing que me permitió conocer gente maravillosa tanto en mi ciudad que vinieron de visita como en otros lugares donde el viajante era yo.

I was lucky enough to backpack for the first time when I was 17 years old. I went on a trip with two friends through northern Argentina. Since then, traveling has become one of my favorite activities. Entering the world of travel led me to the Couchsurfing platform. This helped me meet wonderful people both in my city that came to visit and in other places where I was the traveler.

Interessen

El placer que me genera viajar nace en el interés por conocer otras culturas. Y que mejor manera de hacerlo que conocer gente de otros lugares. Compartir con otros personas a orillas de un lago, tomando una cerveza en un bar, o simplemente brindando o aceptando un lugar donde dormir.
Amo los bosques, los lagos, las montañas, nadar e irme de campamento. En fin, la vida al aire libre. El amor por la ruta hace que disfrute muchísimo conducir.
Cuando me pongo más introvertido amo sentarme a modelar 3d en la compu, o a leer.
Me gusta muchísimo ver películas o escuchar música (esto último preferentemente cuando manejo).

The pleasure that traveling generates in me stems from my interest in learning about other cultures. And what better way to do it than to meet people from other places. Share with other people on the shores of a lake, having a beer in a bar, or simply offering or accepting a place to sleep.
I love the forests, the lakes, the mountains. Swim and go camping. Finally, life outdoors. The love for the road makes driving a lot of fun.
When I get more introverted I love to sit and do 3d modeling on the computer, or read.
I really like watching movies or listening to music (preferably the latter when I drive).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Quizás para el mundo que rodea esta plataforma no es tan increíble. Pero soltar toda pertenencia y atadura a un lugar, agarrar la mochila e irme a viajar por sudamérica fue quizás la experiencia más maravillosa que viví.

Perhaps for the world that surrounds this platform it is not so incredible. But letting go of all belonging and ties to a place, grabbing the backpack and going to travel through South America was perhaps the most wonderful experience I had.
