ABOUT ME

We are a big friend community in several neighborhoods, including Colonia Roma, Condesa, Escandón and Juárez, which are the artistic, young - semi boheme neighborhoods in Mexico City. We have a beautiful house where we try to l live in community with people from all the world, named House "Kan", which means Seed in mayan. A place for growing and making things grow. We are all good friends, we are all tolerant, we all like parties, music, culture, humanism, at least one drug, good food and basically enjoying life.Im a travel addict, a left minded and left handed anthropologist, masseuse and therapist, working in drug policies and Harm Reduction, and who LOVES photo and playing and composing music, so if you play any instrument, bring it with you!

PHILOSOPHY

I think my only responsability is to be constantly amazed by the world.. try to be happy and expand that joyness to whatever surrounds me... And i think this is the only real responsability of every human being.

This is a place for learning, sharing and enjoying. The door of my house is always open, the door of my heart is always open, the door of my mind is always open, the door of my spirit is always open.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Im proud to say we hosted almost 300 couchsurfers in our house. Many outstanding people... they were all amazing and we had just so cool moments. And everything starts from the moment you call to the door, and you know in some seconds you are gonna meet some new great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love electronic music, the profound sounds of Berlin Calling, Minilogue and Minus in general. I'd found amazing things in every music genre except probably pop soul. Fuck i hate that sh--... In films i love the minimalism in jarmusch, the power of won kar wai, the eye of park chan wok, the brain of tarkovsky... but i almost cried with Lord of the Rings...; With books I get crazy about a lot of things. Murakami and Mishima, Dostoievski and Nabokov, Proust and Zola, Bolaños and Borges, Auster and Miller, the beatniks, Huxley, Orwell, etc... Radiohead and Marley are genius, Lynch and Von Trier are genius, but still Beethoven is god :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A great part of my life seems amazing to me... i had danced, traveled, got REAL high, meditated, sensed so many things... could you really pick just ONE moment?

LETS SPREAD THE LOVE!
Every time i open my heart, my mind and my spirit to a new person, i realize we are actually very alike. The difference between we all is everything about EGO... But I am convinced that actually we are all the same... the same fears, the same lonelyness and the same dreams.
If we open ourselves we will always discover that we are part of something HUGE, and it's time to start the process of unification of we all... Canadian? American? French? German? Colombian? Argentinian? Egyptian? Spanish? Italian? Chinese? Australian? Mexican?
