About Me
ABOUT ME
A desperate human being looking for happiness and harmony...!
I tend to be a harsh critic of the world's leading consuming society, a convinced feminist (an "hard core" feminist accordind to some people...), an idealist and a dreamer.
I enjoy practising yoga, meditation, nice and deep talking, thinking, reading, dancing,..., all activities and simple things that bring me peace and joy - that I need so much 'cause I'm not a very stress-resistant person -
Eventually quite curious and eager to hear you talk about your native place and life! Would be happy to host you in Paris soon - I cannot at the moment- to share ideas on travelling and other things...
PHILOSOPHY
"You never know", a sentence I've learned to experience and that applied to me during my last trip by bike. You never know what the next day could consist of!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got to know CS while I was living in Australia a few years ago but I had never used it until I went traveling by bike through Europe with a friend of mine. I then realised how big were the opportunities to learn more about a place and a territory through CS.
Interests
Old French movies, especially Truffaut and Malle. But also more recent movies from Bertrand Tavernier to Michel Gondry. And of course old musicals, especially the ones with Gene Kelly!
I'm a book-worm and could pretty much spend my whole life reading and reading again...
But then I would miss people...! I enjoy talking about politics, society, the world, ...So good to share ideas and convictions! But I'm getting better at listening to very different views than mine now...
I love swing and gypsy jazz and I intend to learn accordion SOON (I've been saying that for a while now...!)
I'm quite a curious person so I can easily get into a new subject or field of interest very quickly.
