About Me

25 year-old college graduate excited to begin his travels around the world! Passion for disaster relief, health/fitness, music, travel, learning, diverse cultures, and many more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Most of my trips in life will be for global aid/disaster relief, but my couchsurfing trips are for leisure and getting to know the locals, their culture, and environment. I want to use couchsurfing in order to stay with a local of the city I'm visiting in order to get to know what the town and the people are really like, without all the tourist traps.

Hoping to meet nice and interesting people who can teach new things and how to appreciate each place outside America as much as the locals do. Please show me things to do that I can't do ANYWHERE else - that's my goal whenever I travel

Whenever I host, I plan to do the same for my guests.

Favorite music genres:
Indie/alternative/rock

Movies:
I love dry humor, witty comedies. Stupid humor, but not too stupid. Some favorites - Naked Gun, Airplane, Tropic Thunder, MacGruber, Kung Pow, Zoolander
Favorite TV shows: It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Tosh.0, BBC Top Gear (with Clarkson, Hammond, and May), Bob's burgers
Deep thought-provoking and philosophical movies too. The Fountain, Into the Wild, The Count of Monte Cristo are a few favorites

Books put me to sleep... I hate admitting that because I wish I was a reader. But sitting down for that long makes me so tired. Some books I do like are the James Bond series, The Art of War, and The Alchemist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpack central and northern Europe. London - Amsterdam - Antwerp - Interlaken/Grindewald - Munich - Berlin - Malmö/Copenhagen - Oslo. Fell in love with Europe from this trip.

Road trip across the USA, from Wilmington, North Carolina to Long Beach, California. Saw New Orleans, the Grand Canyon, Joshua tree national park, Zion national park, Lake Powell, antelope canyon, and so much more

Skydive!

Whitewater rafted and backpacked through Arches National Park, Utah, USA, and parts of the Grand Canyon

Started a business in college building furniture and jewelry from old skateboards - still growing!

Quit my day job in order to travel and pursue sustainable construction, global aid, and a happier, more fulfilling life

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not an "expert" in anything yet, but I feel like I'm a well-rounded, Jack of all trades. So I am happy to share what I know!

I love sharing music, movies, adventures, good food, good laughs... The list goes on

And I am open to learn almost anything! But if anyone can teach me how to surf or play cello, I will love you forever

What I Can Share with Hosts

Cooking (AND cleaning up after), fixing things around the house, a few corny jokes, and good company! I love talking about music, adventure, travel, culture, politics, and philosophy

And I have some good music and movies I can copy for you

Always more to offer though. Sharing is very important to me
