About Me

Hi everyone and anyone,

I discovered couchsurfing in 2019 when I left Paris to join Amsterdam on a solo bike trip. I had the chance to meet really cool people and experience their cities through their eyes.

I know the situation might be complex for couch-surfing these days but it’s also the occasion to meet people in times where social interaction are more and more rare. I leave just outside Paris in a city nearby the Bois de Vincennes, with a lot of cool places to enjoy a bit of nature. There is also the subway, which is awesome to go anywhere in Paris in 15 min.

About me, in short, my life orbits around doing sports, reading, traveling, hanging out with my family and friends. I also have a deep passion for nature and, alongside my work helping social entrepreneurs to grow their sustainable projects, I am also following forestry studies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got welcomed by couch-surfers in the past and I feel like now is my turn to send the elevator back (French expression). I have a nice couch and even a balcony to enjoy the start of spring.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t have any favourite music because there are too many but the bands I listen the most are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Kaleo and Radiohead. I also like to listen to Hans Zimmer and Joe Hisaishi music.

In terms of book, I am fond of fantasy and fantastic litterature : Tolkien, Gaiman, London, Rowling, Irving, Martin, Stoker, Hobb, Wilde, Coben, Barjavel...

About movies, i like intense ones like Interstellar, Shinning, Gladiator, Last Samurai, Unbreakable, Lord of the Rings... but if I had to pick one it would be Hunt for the wilderpeople or Captain Fantastic.

I am also very fond of animated cartoons and watched them all.. Ghibli is a true passion.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went down the Alsek (Yukon) river by kayaking (8 days), facing the strongest wind I have ever felt and ending at the biggest continental glacier in the world. I swam in a lake, surrounded by icebergs and I met bears, goats and wolves that had never seen any humans. It was hard, but amazing.

Later on this trip, I used my wooden canoe to go down the mythical Yukon river and ended in Dawson City, Jack London’s hometown. I stayed there for a week.

I also swam with orcas.. but that’s another story to hear around a beer or a glass of wine !
