my name is Gabriel and I´m a student who is passioned about travelling, photography, sports and adventure. Currently, I´m on exchange in Vancouver but I will start to travel pretty soon. My route is to travel through California, Canada, Alaska and Mexico (3 months).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Reasons I´m Couchsurfing are:

- I really like having company and meeting with new people
- It´s a different type of experience to get in touch with locals
- Of course, it´s cheaper. Especially when you are a long duration traveller
- The nicest thing is to become friends with people you´ve met and welcome them in your hometown once

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve served in Kosovo with the army. It was an interesting time and a cool experience. There is no war and I haven´t had to shot my gun ( which is super nice!!) but it was interesting to see how such a mission works and how we could help people there.
The most important thing I´ve learned there might be that the military is not just about war and shooting guns, it also can be about helping people in regions where they do not have as much as we do.
