Overview
About Me
I'm Gabriel, I'm a 21 year old Video Game Design student studying in the Netherlands but originally from the United Kingdom, I was born in London but grew up in the countryside on what could be described as a farm in the woods.
I've been privileged enough to travel a lot in my life and like most people I love doing it, it's why I moved to mainland Europe at 18.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience a country how a real person sees it and be properly immersed in the culture, hotel stays are nice but it's not the same as making a real connection with real people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Though I like all types of music, I mostly listen to hip hop & and rap at the moment. If I'm staying with you I'll listen to what you love and try to suggest something you like.
I think all movie genres have potential to be great. But I really admire animation and the way it's all put together. The work it takes to make take blows my mind.
My favorite book series from recent years is The Song of Ice and Fire series, it got me into reading again which I used to do more as a youngster. Recently I read the Martian and thought it was great, surprisingly funny too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled to Korea for two months by myself when I just turned 18
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a thing or two about Indian food.
I can tell you all about what makes a game fun
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can bring a good energy into your house, I'm a pretty relaxed person and I try my best to be clean and polite. And if you're down I can test my skills in the kitchen though I'm a little rusty.
I'll might change your opinion of what a game designer is like.
