Hey there folks! My name is Gabe (Ji) King, I'm an artist residing in beautiful San Luis Obispo, Ca. Merely a young age of 20, but packed full of stories and positive energy. I've lived life through my overwhelming attraction to the arts and outright bliss. With a history in musical theater, painting, ceramic art, customer design, choreography, and studio recording I have found my place in this vast world as a doer. A doer of anything that makes me feel love and happiness.

I am currently using my existing experiences to create a heart warming business that focuses on raising funds to assist in helping travelers with the heavy cost of traveling itself. My business name is WesternEnergyTrade and our goal is to lead by example and show people what it means to not only dream, but to efficiently use your energy to make your dreams a reality. At WesternEnergyTrade we buy and sell art, clothes, jewelry, antiques, etc.. in order to preserve the interest in items that have been lost to time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing to me means that I will be given the opportunity to have more stories to tell. All we really have in the end when we kick the bucket are the memories of the times that came before. I hope to live life unafraid, open-minded, and with an open-heart. I feel couch surfing will allow me to continue my pursuit of human interaction on a more broad scale.

Plus its always nice to have connections around the world, because you never know when you might need each others assistance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My step-father is native born to Samoa, so I had the privilege to island hop through the Pacific. Such a beautiful culture the islands of the Pacific have, they live with such warm hearts and open arms.

I can share a positive mind set and a willingness to be present. I chose to live without greedy intentions and can share whatever is needed of me to make the accommodations easier on both ends.
