Overview
About Me
I am a creative teacher, thoughtful blogger and courageous explorer. I love to make new experiences and strive to get out of my comfort zone.
For the past years I have worked as a German teacher for refugees. It got me fired up every morning to be able to help my precious students gain their footing in a new country.
I love being creative together: Playing music, cooking, acting, talking, refining ideas. I love to share my passions and to listen and find out about other people's worlds.
My goal is to build strong connections with people around the world who are striving to make a positive difference in our world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I love fusions of different styles. Acoustic music blended with electronic music. Melodic songs with a strong beat. I also like to create music.
A dream project of mine is to write music together with people from very different cultures and musical backgrounds.
Books: I read hundreds of books, maybe up to a thousand, here are my three favorites:
1) John Maxwell: "The Power of Your Potential: How to Break Through Your Limits".
2) Dan Roam: "Show and Tell: How Everybody Can Make Extraordinary Presentations".
The best book on how to use visuals to communicate. Playful and profound.
3) Karen Page: "The Vegetarian Flavor Bible".
I am not a vegetarian, but this book is magic. Just look in your kitchen for one thing that you need to get eaten. Look it up in the Flavor Bible and you will find great, great creative combinations you would have never thought of. Makes cooking a lot of fun and every meal different.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I piloted a glider.
Performed in a poetry slam and improv theatre in french.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching languages, I love learning about everything, sharing makes us feel alive and our world a much nicer place.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you German and introduce you to Mandarin. I also know some pretty effective methods to make progress in any new language.
Also I can prepare a nice breakfast, give you an ear to listen and I absolutely love brainstorming and refining ideas, in case you are working on a project and would love to chat about it.
