About Me

My name is Gabriel Perry-Freer and i have been traveling around the world for the past 5 months. I will continue to travel for the next 2-3 months as I start to head towards Europe (from SE Asia). I am a student at Pitzer College in Claremont California, where I study Geology and Photography. I love to be outdoors and plan on going into the world of outdoor guiding, wilderness search and rescue and wilderness firefighting after school!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had Couchsurfer recommended to me from multiple friends who suggested it as a great way to meet local people, and have a more interesting and engaging experience in the country you are visiting.

Couchsurfer.com also seems like a great way to save money and avoid the typical travel hostel experience.

I am hoping to use the platform now for finding places to stay, and hopefully one day be able to offer a place to stay to others.
