About Me

I was born in São Paulo, but grew up in a small paradise called Cumuruxatiba (look it up, its beautiful), in Brazil.
Then I moved to Germany when I was seven. My parents ended up splitting and I moved with my mom and sister to southern Spain (Malaga). After almost 8 years in Europe I moved back to Brazil. Now I'm back in Europe, and willing to get to know new places and people :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a good way of getting in touch with locals, and it is of course a cheap way of doing it.
When travelling somewhere I'm usually not interested in the touristic destination, but I rather go to some small streets, talk to locals and really learn about the culture and the people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and always have my headphones with me. For me music is like a soundtrack. There is no favourite kind of music, as it depends on the moment. From Brazilian MPB to British pop, I listen to everything.

Movies I adore, and I am a series devourer. I binge-watch for days if I really like it. From food documentaries to series like Braking Bad, Master of None or Sherlok.

I'm now reading Homo Deus after going trough Sapiens. Lately it's been more books about business and strategy, or something like Sapiens, with some historical, cultural theme to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have had the luck to work on two very interesting projects with the Goethe Institut.
I prepared a videomaking workshop for young students. We travelled to the Amazon and spend a week there, living on river-boats and travelling up the Rio Negro. It was amazing to see all the nature there, the people who live there, and to work with the kids to register it all and make a video about that journey.
It was very transformative, as I realised the importance of teaching, and the end-result was truly amazing.
When you really open up to connect with people, the result is fantastic.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always happy to talk about filmmaking, acting, storytelling, photography, travelling...
I am into science, water-sports, adventure, music.
And I love to learn and share knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always chat and teach photography, filmmaking tricks and skills, acting, and usually people like to talk to me about whats going on in their lives. So I guess Im a good listener.
I also speak 4 languages, so I can share that too.
