Hey, my name's Gabe. I am currently in Canada on an IEC visa from the UK looking to properly explore the country as best I can with my limited time. I am in love with the beauty of the country and it's incredible nature so really want to see the real Canadian wilderness.

I am a very outgoing person who is willing to help out and learn any skills needed in order to help hosts however best I can. I am a keen swimmer, especially in cold water, I love to cycle and hike. I am also a regular writer on the side of my regular job, which is working one to one with kids with special educational needs in schools. My work means I have two months off over the summer which I want to fill with exploring and helping out any hosts in need of support.

I am on couch surfing to meet new people who know the local areas better than anyone. To share my own experiences and learn about others in a positive friendly environment.

I am an avid writer on the side, writing for several sites and previously publishing a book. I am also into exploring nature, wildlife and photographing it just for myself.

Books- Haven't read properly in a while but I like a good thriller or historical fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked across the UK for charity, and messed my foot up in the process, raising over a £1000 for charity.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My friendly personality, helping around the house and in the garden, whatever the house might need. Cooking, I am quite a good cook but it would have to be Vegetarian!
