About Me

I am a international relations student, in my first year of grad studies with a focus on international security and peacekeeping.
Lately though, I've been studying abroad and traveling as much as possible

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and while youth hostels usually provide a fun experience and are great for meeting people, i've too often found myself leaving a country having met people from all around the world except for the country I just visited. As a student I don't have much of a budget so couch surfing is also a way to travel despite those limitations and I'm happy to host those in similar situations. Mainly I'm on couchsurfing to meet locals and host travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to mainly rock and metal, and thanks to a botched update on my iPod, only bands from the letter A to M.

I've had the same three books in my bags wherever I go for the past year but haven't gone past the first chapter if that tells you something.
I love reading though and have gone through most French or English classics and even enjoyed most!

As far as movies go I will watch pretty much anything, i've watched old and artsy thanks to growing up with a cinephile father figure and have watched my fair share of blockbusters and airplane movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning languages and I really enjoy helping others practice ones they are learning.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm always happy to cook something from France or the US, especially deserts. I can also bore you with stories about my ressearch on the effects of withdrawal of international aid in post civil war societies and the role states should play to palliate it.
