Overview
About Me
I am a 32 year old expat from Zimbabwe. I have been living in South Africa from 2007. I love sports, football, cricket, rugby. I love playing sports to keep fit as well. I read a lot and I am currently studying, still single. I work as a Professional Legal Assistant at a law firm here in Johannesburg.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I got introduced to this site when I watched a guy who had travelled the world on little money present at a Tedex event. So I am relatively new, depending on when you read this. That's how I got inspired. I am toying with the idea of travelling the world because I feel its just too big and I have to do myself justice by seeing at least a big junk of it. I have been to Holland & Austria, where I have some relatives, but it was more like visiting than travelling. I enjoy meeting people from a different cultural & ethnic backgrounds. I have made up my mind about travelling but basically its just the timing that I need to get right. I am looking forward to hosting travellers so I can get a sense of how it is like being on the road, and also to meet interesting & diverse people.
Interests
I love meeting people and the outdoors. Good music, jazz, hip hop even classical. I like to try Jamie's recipes at home when I am not busy. I am a bit of a foodie, discovered that passion very recently lol. I am learning German at the Goethe Institute of Johannesburg.
