About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to be spontaneous, creative, and do whatever I have to do to make myself feel in peace

ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back, creative type kind of guy. I'm very passionate about my work. I do freelance photography and work as a research assistant for OCADU in Toronto. I love to travel, get to know the world and learn about people and their cultures

PHILOSOPHY

Atheist who believes in respect and keeping an open mind

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a student from India stay with me for 2 weeks. He was doing a workshop at my university and it was a great experience. I showed him around and we became good friends. I'm still in contact with him! That the first time I had someone stay on my couch and since I've become obsessed with using this platform to extend my circle of friends accross the world!

Interests

As I said before, art is my passion. Even though I mainly work with photography, I also like to shoot video, draw and play with sound. I enjoy songwriting and playing instruments. I cook and love to eat!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands would be Bjork, Kate Bush and Antony Hegarty. My favorite movies are Salo by Passolini, The Tree of Life by Terrence Malick, and The Hours by Stephen Daldry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer, me and my family traveled all along Chile, a country which ironically shaped like a "chilli." We went from small town to small town learning about rural and indigenous life, admiring natural landscapes and communities which had not yet been touched by the globalized world. This specific experience was important for me because it was the first time I was able to see what life is like without the hectic city-life environment, and it's amazing! I wouldn't say I dislike cities, in fact I chose to live in Toronto--which is a relatively large city, because I love the community! But having contact with a part of the world that is often disregarded was shocking and memorable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I usually get along with other artists, creative types but I believe you can learn from everyone
