I always dreamed about being an explorer. I would follow footprints found in the mud around my house, I would search under every little rock, I would go around the hills and valley to find nature’s treasures. I spent my days out and about, riding an improvised bike, hiking through the woods and running with the animals.

In school, I found out most of the Earth had been already discovered. Every rock has already been turned by someone else. My dream faded and I started to live a “normal” life where I would go to school, university and then find a job and settle down.

But I always felt a restlessness in me that I could not quite satisfy. And then I moved to Spain and started to climb in the Pyrenees. I found there, in nature, my calling again. I got off the beaten path that everyone was going on and found my own routes and my own rhythm up the mountain. And I understood that, even if someone else was there before, my own experience is always going to be special and unique. And I can make my own path to get even to the most common place.

I like to get in touch with new people, new cultures. They say traveling is the best education you can get.
