Overview
About Me
I'm a really easygoing person. I try to keep stress out of my life, I like taking time to appreciate the smallest things around me, as they are usually the most inspiring and fulfilling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The thing I like the most about travelling is getting to know the locals. I like to live outside of this touristic commercial bubble into which travelers are pushed into. It's also an amazing way to share cultures and stories with people in other countries. Of course it's still nice to meet other tourists and see all the popular attractions, but for me living almost like a local for some days is an irreplaceable experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love complex music, it can be jazz, caribbean rythms, afro beats, weird hip hop, neo soul and a lot more. I love exploration. My favourite directors are Tarkovsky, Fassbinder and Pasolini. I like slow and contemplative narratives, full of social critique. I prefer to read non fiction, mostly history and philosophy, but every now and then novels and poems are refreshing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Surviving capitalism.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like sharing experiences with people. I can teach others about my country and region's history, cultures, traditions, languages, music, dances and people. This is the same thing I expect to learn back in every place I go to.
Outside of peruvian stuff I like to cook every kind of food, I love dancing salsa, playing drums, percussions and most recently quena. I also draw, paint and sculpt. Finally I get really obsessed when reading about history, politics, arts and the likes, so if you are interested about any of this, I'm your guy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One of my favorite things to do is to cook for hosts, as a way to show my gratitude for their trust. Hope you like peruvian food! I'm a big nerd when it comes to history, anthropology, politics, philosophy, art, languages, music (folk above all), so I always love to have long deep conversations about those themes. I have really good tips for Spanish learning if you are interested in that. I'm also more than obviously glad to help in general house chores and leaving everything as I found it the moment I leave.
