Overview
About Me
I am a 26 year old Design Student who will be moving to Kingston in September to study furniture design.
I attacked the whole university thing a little late, after highschool i traveled quite a bit and worked in bars and restaurants and hostels in several different countries.
Since I have been back at school, I have had the privilege to call Montreal home. I am super into anything that is relevant to arts and design, from fashion and furniture to renaissance paintings and screen prints.
For work I shuck oysters (shuck = Open) and prepare raw seafood in a high end restaurant, a job that I enjoy very much.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Ive never been able to host anybody at this point, but i have provided innumerable amounts of good karma to many a friend across the globe by sleeping on they couch.
*Although i am unable to host at this very moment, now that i am back home I absolutely Love, Love, Love to show my city of to visitors. Montreal has SO MANY great bars and restaurants and parks that i would very much enjoy going to in the company of fellow travellers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
consider myself a proficient Couch crasher. Although only a handfull through the site. I have had to hounour to rest my weary head on many a sofa cushion, feet sticking out the end and all. each and every one has been an adventure of its own. I Havent really had a place to myself in the last few years so have not yet been able to host

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh god. where to start....I listen to a great diversity of music. Bob dylan to The XX passing by The Ramones, Sublime or Dream Theater and Wutang Clan, Sinatra ?. Or From Peter Tosh to Sid Vicious or Rebirth Brass Band with out forgetting a bit of Chopin from time to time. Do i listen to Adel when no one is watching ? Maybe.
Reading: Possibly almost as ecclectic as my music, but not quite
as far as novels go i read alot of travel stuff (Theroux, Kerouak, hemingway, *SHANTRAM* etc) and fantasy
and alot of Non-fiction peices, especialy out of the New Yorker.
But right this second I am in the middle of tackling Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jeez, What do you consider amazing ? I dont know? I once poached an egg so perfectly I was ashamed to eat it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Throughtout my last four years of hopping around i've accumulated a few good stories.
I can use an analogue camera reletively well and mix some mean drinks.
I know alot about seafood and oysters..... If that seems interesting to you in any way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook up a feast.
And ill probably end up drawing you a real thank you note on paper and all, those are kind of rare these days.
