ABOUT ME

I am a carbon based life form (probably) of the kingdom animalia; phylum, chordata; class, mammalia; order, primates; family, hominidae; and species, homosapien. I like to think of myself as a pretty standard specimen of the above specification, with the distinction that I like to think a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

Love of learning, love of life. I do not judge people or their ideas, as I am always fascinated by a new or different approach. In all my life, I have found creativity to be the highest of virtues.

Musica, film e libri

I love to read, usually fiction or textbooks, but don't do it as much as I should. Most You-have-to-see-this-movie movies are ones I haven't seen. I listen to bizarre music that most people probably haven't heard of, as well (mostly modern "classical"). This doesn't mean that I don't have an open mind, though! I love to see/hear/experience new things.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Okay, so it wasn't amazing, but I have a cute picture in my head of the day I visited Topkapi Palace in Istanbul during the summer of 2008: I was sitting on the grass outside, enjoying the hot Turkish sun and practicing the Oud, when I noticed a small black kitten in the grass, stalking... Stalking what, you may ask? A raven, at least twice it's size! The raven was having a ball it seemed, because she would pretend not to see the kitten, who upon getting close enough would receive a quick peck to the tail. The kitten never caught on, and this continued quite some time, and to this day remains one of the most bizarre things I've seen travelling.

As a music student, I love helping others learn the finer aspects of theory and performance- not as a dry subject, but as a practical tool to improve ability.

Another passion of mine is language; if you know a language and are willing to spend some time, I can promise you a strong, dedicated student.
