About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Play electric music 'round the world to elecrtify people!

ABOUT ME

I love knowledge, and one of the best ways to acquire it is by traveling, which I also happen to love. Being open to new experiences, meeting new people and embarking towards the unknown are things which characterize me; it is the spirit of cosmopolitanism.

I am a simple man, with few material needs or wants. I like to serve others, and it would not feel right for me to stay at someone's home without returning the favor somehow.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about contemplating the Good and the Beautiful, whose apex is God, the rest is not important.

I believe in the philosophy of common sense. Anything that doesn't subscribe to the laws of reason, to the principle of noncontradiction, I don't accept as my own philosohpy, but I respect people and their opinions because they're just as passionate as I am about them, and I like to engage in deep, thoughtful, but always respectful discussions about the world and its things.

Life is beautiful, and no one can be deprived of it, because it's worth living 'til the last sunset.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am a total noob to the CS project, all I want to do in it is act as a confessor to the soundness of a website whose potential for uniting humankind is extremely overlooked. I want to tell people about my country and my worldview, so hopefully they can learn as well as I from them.

Interests

I love to talk about art, music, politics, literature, philosohpy, anything in general, and try to make the light seem serious and the serious seem light. I wish I knew more about science, but, one can't have it all in this life, ain't it so?

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to ANY kind of music, but that doesn't mean I have no specific tastes. At the top of my hierarchy lies Classical Music, of which I am in need to listen to more. Next comes rock n roll, folk music, the blues, hip-hop and everything else that constitutes popular music.

My favorite style to play in electric guitar are the Blues. It makes your soul grow wings.

Shakespeare, the Bard, is a gift from God to humankind.

Plato is one of the holiest men to ever walk the earth.

St. Paul convinced me of the power and mystery of Christianity, and its validity.

I have absolute disagreement with Karl Marx on almost everything he wrote... but DAMN was he a good writer!

I could go on... Chesterton, Nietzsche, Dante, Lope de Vega, Cervantes, Lorca, and such and such and such and such...

Take the longest zipline in the Americas from one mountain peak to another, strapped horizontally to the canopy, and not shitting my pants in the process
