About Me

I make healing talismans from crystals, taught by a Peruvian shaman as well as work in a creative cafe and study Complementary Therapies. I tend to be a very positive and upbeat person. From the age of 16 my biggest goal is to travel the world. I believe in kindness, good music, good people and good times!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Someone recommended this site to me when I really needed to find a place to stay in Newcastle. I had such a great experience with my host! We are still friends to this day, and I use couchsurfing whenever I get a chance to explore. It gives the opportunity to connect with people, learn new things and experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite books include Memoirs of a Geisha (the film moved me as a child when I had no idea that these things can really happen in life, but when I read the book when I was a bit older it's definitely better), A Series of Unfortunate Events (little bit dark, little bit funny) and my favourite author is Paulo Coehlo (many of his books synchronise to events in my life in almost unbelievable ways, they always fall in my lap at the right time!).

My favourite film is Fifth Element (another childhood favourite) and Kill Bill

I love all kinds of music! Especially live music and especially music that involves dancing! Most of the time when I have my earphones in I'll be choreographing a dance in my head

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my 18th birthday I chose to celebrate differently from the stereotypical thing that most people begin their adulthood with. I chose to shave all my hair off to donate to Little Princess Trust, and the money I raised went to The Garden Of Ancestors Art which is a NGO healing centre in Peru where I will spend 3 months later this year! Wow I still remember that moment when I sat in the chair and knew there was no going back...made me get over a lot of fears, receive more respect and care less!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some base knowledge on crystals and some history, I have studied Art & Design for 2 years, I currently study Complementary Therapies (massage, aromatherapy and reflexology).
I like to learn about anything and everything!
