Overview
About Me
Greetings! I'm an actor residing in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL. While my roots are in the theater scene, I'm currently venturing into new creative territories by writing my debut musical and crafting a Ph.D. thesis proposal delving into the fusion of South Indian theater techniques within contemporary American acting.
Beyond the stage, I engage in gig work, though I previously dedicated a decade to the healthcare and public education sectors before committing to theater full-time in 2016.
My heart belongs to a talented artist and devoted meditator, to whom I am happily engaged. Personally, I've embarked on multiple Vipassana Meditation 10-Day retreats and continue to deepen my practice.
While my travels have been limited primarily due to financial constraints, I seize every opportunity to journey, often aligning it with my professional endeavors. Social by nature, I enjoy lively conversations and tend to be easily captivated by intriguing discussions. Rest assured, I prioritize respect and tolerance in all interactions, and take great care of my surroundings, especially when they're entrusted to me.
An avid animal lover, particularly fond of dogs, I've volunteered with local animal shelters and even cared for community canines during my travels in India. Simply put, I'm a true sucker for our furry friends!
Looking forward to connecting with fellow adventurers and kindred spirits through CouchSurfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing offers me a practical solution when traditional housing options stretch beyond my budget. Inspired by my partner and their friends' positive experiences, I'm eager to immerse myself in the Couchsurfing community. In the future, I aspire to reciprocate the generosity by becoming a host once I have a space of my own to share.
Beyond the financial aspect, Couchsurfing aligns with my desire to forge meaningful connections across the nation and the globe. I'm drawn to the idea of encountering diverse cultures and perspectives, enriched by the hospitality of individuals who graciously open their homes. Eventually, I hope to extend the same warmth to fellow travelers, welcoming them into my abode when the time comes.
Couchsurfing represents not just a practical lodging option, but a gateway to a world of shared experiences and camaraderie, which I eagerly anticipate being a part of.
