Overview
About Me
I'm a general practitioner of medicine in a small beach town in Uruguay, and I am also studying to become an epidemiologist. I like science and good music. I'm a vegetarian. I live with my boyfriend, who works in software QA from home. We both play bass. We have a cute cat, no kids. We're pretty laid back. I work a lot, but have free weekends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to travel with my boyfriend and this seems like a very good idea.
I like meeting people from abroad.
We have a spare bedroom at home, but we need to furnish it a little bit before we can have people over. It's a work in progress. We have to have it set for December, because a friend from Germany is coming over. After that we could start accepting guests.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz music, mainly bebop from the fifties, but I listen to lots of different stuff.
I like Radiohead too, and Tori Amos. I worship Jaco Pastorius.
I don't watch a lot of movies, I'm more into TV now. My tastes are pretty mainstream, I reckon (Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, BoJack Horseman, Better Call Saul, Rick and Morty... you get the idea).
I haven't been reading much lately; right now I'm really into Oliver Sacks and I'm reading The Bell Jar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a month in China with my boyfriend, who was touring with a band he had. I can't think of many other cool things.
Teach, Learn, Share
My boyfriend is a very good bass player and he gets together to play with an amazing group of musicians. They're seriously awesome. Seriously. For real. He's much more interesting than me, that guy, LOL.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Umm... Cool jazz records? :)
I don't cook a lot, but I make good risotto and a couple of other things.
