Music, Movies, and Books
I love the sonority of blues instruments, the poetry of Brazilian Popular Music (aka MPB) and the rhythm of bossa nova and samba.
I have discovered the poetry, enchanted by Manoel de Barros, Matilde Campilho, Wislawa Szymborska, among many others.
In prose, Machado de Assis, valter hugo mãe and Neil Gaiman have special place in my heart.
About films, the Brazilian cinema has positively surprised me. I am a series lover and Netiflix is my second home.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I participate of a project in a peripheral community of Londrina called Ciranda da Cultura. There, together with friends, I give a storytelling workshop for children and through this ensure forms of social protection and a move away from violence in the region.
I am passionate about the community, the children and all that the Ciranda represents. I love to talk and think about it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I enjoy learning about local history and culture, as well as sharing personal stories.
I can talk about psychology, a little philosophy and teach crafts!
Share good conversations and stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a wonderful vegetarian pasta in a single pan, modesty aside.
I love creating and reciting poetry, during long and philosophical conversations.
I like calligraphy, I paint watercolors and I make handicrafts!
