Overview
About Me
I'm a Brazilian cultural journalist and actress, crazy 'bout literature, theater and all kinds of art. I'm currently doing an internship in Germany. I enjoy going out for a beer and open air parties and concerts, as well as watching plays and reading books. I'm always open to know new things, people and different ways of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy traveling, knowing new people and sharing experiences. I love to know different cultures, foods, places and histories. I also believe that each choice we do, such as the places we visit and when we visit then, can transform our vision and add amazing things to our lives.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of Brazilian music, including samba (but I definitely can't dance). Some of my favourite artists are Caetano Veloso, Los Hermanos, Novos Baianos and Criolo. I also like to sing trashy and crazy pop music in karaoke. In every place I travel to, I like to know local music - and of course I would like new suggestions :)
My favourite films are Mulholland Drive, Amelie Poulain, Mommy and Tatuagem. This last one is a film about theater, gay love (sadly still taboo in Brazil), amazing music and the beautiful Brazilian northeast!
Books: "Os Passos em Volta" (Herberto Helder), "A desumanização" (Valter Hugo Mae) and "Lavoura Arcaica" (Raduam Nassar).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- The first time I stepped up to a stage to present a theater play (I was 15 and really anxious).
- The time when I interviewed, in German, a native professor of history about Nazism and the Third Reich.
- Travelling with unknown people by car in the German highways - and going to the most beautiful place in the world (srsly, google it): Königssee.
I also think about living for a while in other continents (Asia, Africa), parachute/paraglide and write a book. Who knows!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit of Portuguese and talk about Brazilian culture. I can also try not to burn a typical dish. I would love to share beers, coffee and drunk philosophical thoughts. And I'm always open to learn something new!
