2022 UPDATE

After living in Santa Fe for 6 yrs, I moved to Los Angeles for almost 2 years (2019-2021). I moved back to Florida last Sept and now planning my new adventure.

I'm Gaby and I'm a Romanian girl living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Why Santa Fe? Because it's one of the most magical places. I left Romania when I was 20 and lived for 5 years in Abu Dhabi (UAE), for about a year or so all over Italy, then moved to the US in Florida on the west coast for another 5 years and finally found Santa Fe 4 years ago. Where to next? That's still to figure out. I usually take decisions in a matter of days and can move all the way across the world in a matter of weeks.
I love travelling, meeting new people and being immersed in new cultures and learning new languages. There's beauty everywhere and I love discovering it and marveling at it. I believe in miracles and I see them happening every day.

I'm a mood lifter and a motivator for my friends and whomever needs it and because everything is energy, I try to always give away good vibes.
I love people with a good sense of humor and believe that taking life too seriously makes us old prematurely. Laughing is medicine.

I feel like it's one of the best concepts out there and proves that underneath it all humans can still be genuine and selfless and lovely.
I try to host as much as I can and show people the magic of Santa Fe and learn a bit from every person that gets to sleep over my place.
When I couch surf I try to be as interesting as I can, so no host will ever feel sorry for having me over.

Intereses

I love travelling, meeting new people, new cultures and learning new languages. I enjoy reading good books and having good conversations.
Cooking is one of my passions and I love good food, good wine and good company. It's been few years since I gave up meat, but have no problem with other people eating it.
I love singing and go to karaoke pretty often or just sing around the house. Another favorite activity is dancing and I think Latino music is the best to dance on.
I'm really interested in alternative medicine and natural methods of healing and hope that one day we will all go back to nature to get healed. I recently started practicing Reiki and it is so humbling to have a part in someone's process of healing.
