About Me

So ! Very difficult to write about me, it's easier to talk about someone else !
I
I am Gabriel, I am french and when I am in a foreign contry I prefer to be considareted like a traveller than a tourist
I studied sociology in Marseille and Istanbul, it's help me a lot to be open minded and understand different point of view.

Right now I am volonteer in Armenia, I think I will never forget this amazing experience. It's better than a simple trip, I live for a long period with local people, and try to be like a local day after day.

My futur plan is to come back in france by bus, train, car, just to take the time to visit Europe ans meet European people, of course !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am just happy to share a moment with new people. In our liberalism and individualism crasy world, it's difficult to communicate with eachother, even if there if new technologies of communication.

So I was very active during my Erasmus in Istanbul, sometimes accepting guests in my home or just to visit with a lot of travellers this beautiful city and drink a tea around Bosphore.

Actually I never use couchsurfing like a surfer, but I hope to do it soon !

Interests

I am neutral.
Everything has a special interest for me.
No matter the subject, the topic, the leisures,.. the most important is to be passionate ! Show me your love !

Music, Movies, and Books

To open mind and have a critical point of view about many subjects, to read sociology book is necessary.
By the way for pleasure, I really like Michel Houellebeck, Frederic Beigdeider, Bukowski, Hunter Tompson, John Fante...
I don't watch a lot of movies, sorry about that haha.
And also, I really like techno/house music, but of course I can listen a lot of things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hum... To cross a river with my bag on my head in Thailand, to take part on a strike about women's rights in Istanbul, to play games and sing with syrians children refugees in Erevan during my volonteering mission.

Teach, Learn, Share

My personality is a little bit serious, so I love to talk about many topicts like philosophy, way of life, international solidarity, society...
But don't worry I can be relax and funny when I want. It depend with who I am !

What I Can Share with Hosts
