ABOUT ME

Venezuelan-Spanish earthling currently living in Hangzhou (China). Formerly based in the city of Edinburgh, where I spent close to three years in total.

I'm kind of an intense person with multiple passions. I love literature, film, music and anything arty. I love taking photos in multiple formats (film, pixel, phone). I'm also the type of person that thinks of food 24/7 (literally, breakfast is the reason I go to bed at night and during meals I'm thinking about what I'm going to eat next haha). In this regard, I'm a vegan, which also means I'm an animal/nature lover. As for sports, pole dance is my favourite, but also enjoy yoga, hiking and rock climbing (I'm still learning though!). I have recently started running Spartan races and that's been such a fun and life-changing decision.

Travelling and wandering are my biggest passions.

I'm pretty talkative and easygoing, and I love a good conversation with anyone: people have so much to share. What really makes me tick is exchanging ideas about the world with people, esp. about global issues and artsy stuff involving animals, gender, ecology, social responsibility, etc. I like to get philosophical sometimes, but also be silly and nonsensical, and, why not, think of life in terms of film, book and pop culture references.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling and eating are my favourite things in this world. Through CS you can broaden your horizons so much by meeting such diverse kinds of people, and you do really get to truly experience the places you visit and it's culture and subcultures (and you can share so much food too!). This is the reason why I also tend to move to other countries or volunteer there/stay there longish term rather than just doing tourism.
