ABOUT ME
Gabriel Beck is an adventurous lad who travels frequently for research, work, or merely the pure enjoyment and exhilaration of seeing new things in other countries. He has a love and fascination for European cultures, food, fashion, drink, music, and people in general. He is meticulously clean and well dressed, and he would make an excellent temporary house guest. He tries to keep things interesting and is willing to talk about nearly anything and everything. He also doesn't have a good answer for why he wrote this blurb in third person.
PHILOSOPHY
Speak occasionally, read often, think always, and committ yourself to the process of constant self-evaluation and evolution. God kills us when we get boring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just moved into a new place, so it will be a few weeks before I feel ready to host, but I am more than willing and even excited to.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed in a couple of cities while making a month long road trip across the United States. Those evenings were some of the best of the whole journey, the people who tend to host with this sight are some of the best conversationalists I've come across. I guess it comes with the openess that leads one to let out one's room for free.

Music, Movies, and Books
I feel like any couchsurfer probably needs to have some sort of literary love affair with Ernst Hemingway, I know I certainly do. Anything by him is my favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing atop a parched hill in the Negev desert, I could see Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the Red Sea. It was one of the first moments that truly took my breath away.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're up for a cooking session, I'm always down for that. Even when I'm alone in the house, I impersonate Julia Child sometimes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A love of new people with good food and wine (or beer, or cocktails).
