About Me
Colombian documentary photographer and journalist starting a carreer, willing to explore diversity around the world. My method is going from one town to another, sitting on the floor to hear stories, share drinks and shoot my camera.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some years ago I was a really shy and reserved person. When I started to make photography, I stopped my moral judgments.
My camera helps me to learn from anyone, and to open myself to the people.
I'm on couchsurfing because I want to truly discover new places and stories with local people, not traveling as a tourist.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, basically everything, but since I started to photograph the Colombian Caribbean Coast, I LOVE the music with strong African roots no matter the country. I feel the cultural diversity is a way to understand the complex social conflicts of the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cultivating yucca during my childhood. Dancing champeta in the Caribbean Coast. Slowly becoming a documentary photographer.
Teach, Learn, Share
Dance, photography, music —specially Colombian—, stories.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A postcard. Spanish/spanglish lessons. I love to spend time walking, biking and telling/listening daily-life stories.
