I challenge myself to get out of my confort zone and incite people to do likewise. I teach myself to seek uniqueness in every day life. I belive the most valuable currency out there is Time and I always assume the best of intentions in any given situation.

ABOUT ME

At the moment I'm back again living in China as an Expat engineer. For the last few years, I've kept pushing hard to keep myself on the go and seeing as much as I possibly could of the world. I have to say that I've been doing quite a good job in that matter since I've spent time abroad than at home in the last 4 years. Home being in Montréal, Canada.

PHILOSOPHY

Any experience is a valuable one. Complimentary to that; it won't be you're way but that's okay. Challenge yourself to find ways of becoming better every day. Make your entourage people that you can look up to. Don't get yourself bugged down for any reason; Keep moving!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For me, couchsufing is not a tool to save up on accomadation but rather a mean by which I'll will have a much better chance of establishing a human connection as well as seeing the true side of the place I'm visiting.

While travelling, I do not seek to have my picture taken in front of a whatever big monument and even if it would be offred to me for free I would never set foot in a fancy and expensive hotel. Why? (1) Because as opposed to what commonly believed those pictures will not crystallise in some proof of epicness and (2) you can be sure there is nothing happening in a 5 stars hotel room. Why not stay right at home then?

In a few words , CS is not a way to save on money but rather an opportunity to make a friend. I will always be greatful to be hosted and I will always make sure that my host receives at least as much as he/she gives out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still just doing my baby steps in CS, I intend to become more active in the community and start hosting now that I have my own place in Gaoming, China. Since connecting with new people can be a challenge for a foreigner like myself living in rural China, I put my hopes on CS as a mean of establishing new friendships that would otherwise not occur.

Interessi

I always had an eclectic range interests that are always evolving. I find languages to be fasinating and everso intricate. I've recently discovered the ''sport'' of motorcycling and absolutely love the leverage of freedom which it offers. Needless to say this will sound cliché but back in Canada I always like to live with nature and I feel somewhat more at ease living in the woods than in an urban environnement. This being said, photography, biking, skiing, canoë camping are all some of my interests to begin with.

Musica, film e libri

I'm interested in documentaries and reading about true stories. I've tried watching fast and furious but couldn't handle it after 5 min. The same goes for any other blockbusters. I like the concept of music even though I'm far from being anything close to a music type of guy.
