My name is Gabriele, you can call me Gabi :).

I'm a Brazilian girl who always wanted to have an experience abroad and finally in 2015 decided that was time to go for it.
I'm a pharmacist in my country and used to work with Quality Management in Pharmaceutical Industries, but I'm not really sure if this is my passion and I would like to explore new areas as a pharmacist and also start studying history when I go back to my country.
I came to the USA as an Au Pair so I live with a host family and take care of their children. In my first year I lived in Bethesda - Maryland and completely fell in love with Maryland, DC and the east coast.
I decided to have a different experience in my second year in the USA, so I moved to Georgetown- Texas (Austin suburb) which gave me the opportunity of exploring the southern culture! After 5 months in Texas I decided to move again and now I'm living really close to one of my favorite cities ever, Chicago!
My experience in the USA couldn't be better, I love this country and my goal is visiting 1 state/month to be able to explore half of the country before I leave on next March!
I love meeting new people and making friends, sharing my culture, listening to their stories and learn with them. I'm a super open minded and easy going girl and I'm looking forward to this experience in Couchsurfing.
