About Me

I am a quite uncomplicated person who loves to laugh, to meet new people and to learn new things. I love to share time and ideas with you.
I live in a tiny wooden house close to a small lake in the south of Germany. I love to work as a teacher in a school for children in the age of 15 to 20 and I try to teach them philosophy and economy.
In my free time I take care of the refugees in our small town.
I had a sabbatical seven years ago. I met a lot of incredible nice and helpful people at this voyage who made my trip so wonderful and who showed me the real spirit of couchsurfing.
That´s why I will start to another sabbatical in August 2024 !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people and listen to their own life stories. I want to share my house and my free time and let the world come to my home.

I think that couchsurfing is the best way to dive into another culture and to get an idea how it feels to live in a foreign country.

The idea of couchsurfing is to trust and to share and this makes the world a bit brighter.

Interests

I like to be in the nature, to meditate, to be in silence, climbing mountains, to go biking, to go in a theatre or a cinema. I love dancing, yoga, cooking, gardening wild herbs and plants, but also painting, reading books and - of course - travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I loved to see and accompany my kids grow up

When I found out, that nature gives us all we need - the world turned into a paradise

Two years ago I learned to fly (paragliding)

Last year I went to a vipassana retreat - to meditate and to be silent for 12 days makes me feel connected to everybody and everything!
