COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Newbie!!! Inexperienced with Couch-surfing but I have been a host on airbnb for over a year.

Interests

I like to talk and make people smile or laugh out loud. Sometimes I cycle,take photographs,visit art galleries,theatres and libraries, I am always growing and cooking healthy food for anyone who likes to share food and eat quietly, with lots of conversaton for dessert. I rarely drink alcohol except on birthdays/holidays and I do not smoke. I try and try to practice Yoga and meditation regularly but often fail, dancing is my addiction,( although I look like a baby elephant trying to look graceful...I prefer not to be judged) I am open-minded and a creative thinker who has been perfecting the art of hugging for many years.

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock and roll, Neil Young and Led Zepplein style is my favourite beat, but I have eclectic taste and will listen or dance to anything at least once. I enjoy practising 'Five rhythms' which was invented by Gabrielle Roth...so if the beat makes me want to move my body,that's good enough for me.
I have eclectic taste in Films and Literature too...sometimes the 'darker the better'. I also love 'house of Ghibli' animated films, so if you have any to share please bring them along.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I will have to think about this...There are three amazing human-beings on this planet who I have had the pleasure of nurturing and watching grow, my son and my two daughters! They in their turn are nurturing and watching grow,their own sons and daughters...I applaud them it's a tough job and they need all the support that we other humans can give them, to raise the next generation of free thinkers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn conversational French, and how to be less serious about life. I can offer advice and hands-on organic gardening experience, also an opportunity to cook delicious food, alongside me in my tiny kitchen.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Advice on most aspects of gardening, maybe even one-to-one trouble-shooting sessions if you have a particular area of garden that needs attention.
I enjoy cooking with fresh produce and can cater for most tastes although I do not cook or eat animals, EVER!
