ABOUT ME

I read, write, run, walk, swim, jump, laugh, cry, watch movies, make movies, call my friends, go to the beach, listen to music, write some music, take pictures, cook, practice sports and a whole bunch of other things. In between I work in advertising as a copywriter. But that's just on the free time.

PHILOSOPHY

The best is yet to come, but that doesn't mean that I'm not going to enjoy the moment!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I´ve couchsurfed at a country ambassador´s place. It made me understand a lot about the entire couchsurfing system. Currently, I am afraid my participation will be limited to hosting as much as I can. Will be moving on to geting more verified and make a donation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I joined CS, as a surfer I had only done this staying at friends, or friend's friends, or friend's cousin's uncle's friend's friends, that kind of thing. As host I always had people over through pretty much the same kind of connection.

I joined CS while living in Spain, and even though I wasn`t able to host anyone there for conflicting dates, I had fantastic experiences as a surfer all over Europe! So here goes once again my personal thanks to all my hosts:

Marco (Porto), Andrea (Lisbon), Pedro (Barcelona), Felipe (Bologna, but he´s not in CS), Tiziano (Veneto region), Joe (Viena), Laura (Prague) and Grazia (Munich).

As a host, so far I have hosted 1 person, from Australia. Cheers David!

I can't live without movies. So many of them... Forrest Gump, Lord of The Rings, but no one can only live out of Hollywood, so of course I have my share of asian, european, and latin-american movies... this could go on forever! Better if we just meet and talk about movies!

When life gives you a lemon, get some more of them, add some sugar, mash'em together, add ice and cachaça, shake it like you mean it, and you got yourself a caipirinha, Brazil's famous drink.

When you´re on the street and have something to throw out, just keep it until you find a trash can, it can't take that long.
