Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The reason why I start participating in CS is to meet new people. I like to travel. While I'm traveling I love to see some highlights at the place where I am but above of all, I love to see the local hotspots. To get to know the real people. In exchange I'd love to show people around in the city where I live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I start participating in CS just a view months ago. In those view months I've hosted five people. Hosting those people was amazing. I really liked everyone of them. It makes my life richer. They had so much to tell and to share. In return I showed them my city. Not only the highlights but also the secret and hidden local places.

Interests

I love retail. I even have made my profession out of it. At this moment im busy finish my Bachelor thesis about the influence that social media has on retail. I'd love to be a Product or Brand Manager. Doing researches, discover new trends and translate them to a commercial plan.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love social drama films like: The Angel Share, As it is in Heaven, Intouchables, De rouille et d'os, Coco avant Chanel & Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain. Although the last movie is described as a romantic comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of years ago I have made a road trip in Australia. I arrived in Brisbane where I had rented a car. They only plan that I had was that I was flying back 4 weeks later from Sydney. In the meantime I could do anything that I wanted. The first part of my trip I have travelled to the north. I've I'd like the place where I was staying I stayed there a couple more days. In case I didn't like they place at all, I moved further. The freedom, the nature, the people, the weather every element made this trip unforgettable. Next year (september 2013) I want to do the same thing in California and in the beginning of 2014 in Asia (Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia & Thailand).

Like I sad above, I'd love to cook.. Try new recipes. Travel and cook with locals. I've done that in Israel. Although I don't speak their language and my host didn't spoke English, we were able to prepare a meal together. I want to do that same thing in many other counties.
