Overview
About Me
I am a student in Ecological and Environmental sciences in Edinburgh. I come from France, I grew up near Paris.
I love discovering new people, cultures and new ways of thinking that opens my mind! I never had better better experiences than discovering places with 'locals', way better than mass tourism, isn't it?!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now that I am over 18, and left abroad for my studies, I have found the confidence to begin to travel alone around Europe and the world, and feed my desire for a different kind of travelling, more sustainable and in cultural immersion!
Indeed, I've decided that I won't take the plane anymore to reduce my environmental footprint, so it is creating an exciting challenge for me to travel differently: by bus, ferry, train or bike and stop more on the way!!
Summer 2017 was my first time travelling alone, using Couchsurfing and going Woofing (volunteering in farms) in Spain, it was an amazing experience, meeting lovely people.
To me travelling is so much about meeting people and sharing the experience with them, discovering places in another way, and Couchsurfing is perfect for this!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very open minded on music, you can be sure that you'll find at least one song I like in every style. I am particularly keen on small bands, in rock, pop, indie, acoustic, reggae. I also like blues, jazz, swing and love latin music, particularly to dance on!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going in Guatemala, I met there incredible people, I love the culture and the feeling there, I can't wait to go to Latin America again.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always eager to share and debate about what I learn in environmental sciences or sustainable agriculture with anybody curious. I know how to identify some plants and trees.
I am happy to help practice french as well !
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking, I will be more than happy sharing french and vegetarian/vegan cuisine with my hosts.
And more importantly, sharing smiles and stories, learning from each others, having good times together. There is no better classroom than a room with strangers !
