My company obligates me to travel quite a lot so after many years refining my traveling skills I went from purchasing my accommodations from travel agents, then internet search sites, then got tired of the hotel routine which makes you feel crazy lonely. You go to a country do your business meeting and go back on the first available flight home. You actually dont learn anything from the culture so one of my clients a couple of years ago told me about AIRBNB which ended up being amazing due that nine times out of ten I ended up making good friends of the host. Then airbnb turned into something like empty houses with just phone instructions of how to check in and check out of those houses due that people started treating it as a non taxable business. I complained to a friend and he told me about COUCHSURFING which to be honest is really what i am looking for. Knowing people and places unlike common tourists will ever get the privilege of doing so.
