About Me

I am a woman, 32 years old. Just graduated from a Master's in Anthropology, I felt unable to follow up with a thesis, because I do not read English fluently. I wanted to go to an English-speaking country for several months, but plans changed... So I accepted a job, which I had already done, but which turned out not to suit me anymore. What to do then?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The project of immersing myself in an English-speaking country therefore comes back, I wish to accomplish it through settling and looking for a job in England. But why not start first with a week of sharing a place with you, getting to know each other and letting myself be carried away...?

Interests

Basically, I like learning to take time. Finally it's not exactly that I like it, it's a real challenge for me. But it's productive. I like to question myself, weigh the pros and cons, evolve, in writing, speech, sport or meditation. I don't miss a meal, I like to eat well, I love to cook, go out or chill, depending on the weather or the moon =)

Music, Movies, and Books

I overdosed on scientific literature during my Masters so I'm coming back to it very slowly, rather with lighter novels, but it's very difficult for me, it's a habit you quickly lose!
For music, at the risk of being banal, I think I listen to almost everything, yes, even rotten variety!
But to go out, I would rather go towards electronics. My partner plays in trance/techno festivals, that's where we like to go.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A divine feminine inititation in Glastonbury
A Senegalese baptism
I went to Indian territory
Slept in the Amazon rainforest

Teach, Learn, Share

I take advantage of this insert to talk about my master's subject: the sacred feminine, through a ritual practice experienced in Glastonbury. Esotericism is always part of my life, near or far, something always reminds me of it. I also have a herbalist's certificate, from which I am far from having learned everything, but which I often mobilize to treat myself first, with plants and food supplements; and also advise others. Exchange knowledge with humility is the best !
