About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Thinking about where to go next (both literally and figuratively).
ABOUT ME
I am honest, reliable and organised. Generally quite optimistic. I like experiencing new things, and saying "yes"!
I might be a little less energetic than some of the people I've seen on here (mornings are not my forté!) but can definitely muster up some steam when the occasion calls for it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm finally home! Or should that be, "home".
Not settled into a place of my own yet so unable to host for the moment. It would be great to help out other surfers visiting Adelaide when I'm able!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Travelling throughout 2013 until I change my mind....
Interests
I love reading, sometimes more than living.
I love riding my bike around a new city and exploring on two wheels.
I like green spaces. If I can combine the above; heaven.
Music is very important to me. Both playing, and listening (I'm a percussionist who specialises in tympani)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm more of a music and book person than movies (although I'm trying, slowly, to ameliorate this).
I LOVE classical music, happy indie, electronic, jazz etc. Some of my favourite bands are: The Crash, The National, Air, Jaga Jazzist, Band of Horses, Radiohead, Arcade Fire....
My reading tastes are broad and ever changing. I'm trying to get up to speed with my classics, as I never really studied literature (I'm very much a scientific thinker). I like to read: Haruki Murakami, Jules Verne, Paul Auster, Patrick Suskind, Nicole Krauss ..... I started up a bookclub here in Bordeaux and I love that it encourages me to try books I normally wouldn't think to read. I also enjoy reading in French, although naturally this is more challenging to me. I love talking about books too!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scrambling over the Great Wall of China.
Marching up the Champs Elysées in Paris with my concert band. The police stopped all traffic for us!
An amazing music festival on a forest island in Turku, Finland.
