ABOUT ME
10 things about me
1) Passionate is the best word to describe me. And I am passionate about a lot of stuff in life.
2) I'm a foodie! Love to go to great restaurants, wine tasting, local produce tasting, cooking, watching cook shows...
3) I talk a lot... quite a lot! But I also smile and laugh a lot :)
4) I used for very long to not like beer but the offer from one couchsurfer host that could not be refused actually changed my mind. Couchsurfing has changed me :P
5) Not much of a sports person I'm afraid.
6) I have extensive Obsessive Compulsive Disorder : let me order my eggs and gums following a very personal pattern please!
7) You would probably want me in your team when playing trivia games (definitely am a nerd)!
8) I am very curious and always ask a lot of questions.
9) I LOVE making links between languages.
10) I sometimes gesticulate when daydreaming. I talk outloud when I am alone and I surprise myself mimicking my imaginary conversations... (I know, I'm a weirdo but who isn't at some point?)
PHILOSOPHY
Be spontaneous!
Always be true to yourself.
Don't live to work but work to live!
Love the life you live!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would be happy to meet people here in Montreal - for a coffee, a drink AND to show them around. Unfortunately, due to my current conditions, I'm not able to offer a couch but I most certainly will the moment I have a place of my own!

Music, Movies, and Books
''The Century'' trilogy - Ken Follett
''Outlander'' - Diana Gabaldon
''Cyrano de Bergerac'' - Edmond Rostand
I am trying to enhance my general culture by reading classics from French and English literature. At the moment, reading Robinson Crusoé and next on the list is Frankenstein... But I mostly love books where fiction is constructed around History (e.g. Edward Rutherford). I am also guilty of enjoying cheesy chick-lit of the likes of Shopaholics and Bridget Jones.
Music : Classics everybody knows and can sing along to! Great moments! I am not so up-to-date in my tastes and quite enjoy listening to English old school music (Beatles, Supertramp, Genesis, Peter Gabriel) where you hear musical progression, thanks to my dad. I also have an increasing interest for poetic French music where you have to focus on the lyrics... that's from my mum.
I've taken 8 years of classical piano lessons... hence I do enjoy listening to classical music too.
Movies : oh my god! Where to start? In no particular order : Love Actually, The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, Notting Hill, Un dîner de cons, Star Wars, Seven Years in Tibet, Cyrano de Bergerac, Bon Cop Bad Cop, The Elephant Man, The Sound of Music, Braveheart, L'Auberge espagnole, Les Poupées russes, Diarios de motocicleta, Blood Diamond, The Bourne's Identity, The Schindler's List...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After a week back from Europe, I decided to go back because I was not quite done and I booked a flight for the very same day! That was the biggest sponteanous thing I did in my life and that I most certainly will never regret! ... Now I don't hesitate anymore to extend holidays spontaneously! I booked a ticket for Asia 2 days in advance! Talk about making opportunities happen!
Teach, Learn, Share
Can probably teach a thing or two about the languages I learn, pronounciation tips. Can teach you how to make crepes with maple syrup for breakfast and very simple beautiful fish tartars... or tons of recipes with maple syrup really! I want to learn recipes too!!! Would love to learn how to solve a Rubik's cube quickly! I'm opened to learn what you have to teach me :)
